Ixia setup tips

Prior to Ixia setup, Vlan table is set correctly on DUT.

IXIA Chassis Slot(Card) 1- 6

Define Chassis name and enter IP address

Ixia – Ixia explorer mapping

1. Find out Ixia cable’s port #

2. Find out Ixia chassis’s IP and card slot #

3. PC Remote desktop login which accessible to the Ixia chassis, launch Ixia explore.

4. Enter Chassis name and IP to view various config on the ports

5. Click the Statistic Views and open window (for packet counters)

6. Press Transmit

How to change the packet size

Select B/C Column in Statistic View window (packet counter) and right click on mouse, setup window appears

Use mouse right click. Edit window popped out

• Set random 64-9000 bytes and ff00/00ff pattern
